Made For Me For Winning A Post-A-Thon

There really was no purpose to my having a website :) I think that everyone who enjoys being online should have one whether they are "famous" or not. I had to pay for image hosting for my messageboards and the site came with it, so I did something with it. It passes time, I guess?? It also helps me to learn html and css. Then I began to use it to showcase my poetry and share my feelings and beliefs with both friends and strangers. As for the name "ghettobaby" (which used to be the title of my site), I got that from a pop-up ad of a little dolly that said "ghettobaby" on it. I didn't get into the internet until 1999 or so and I've had some version of this website ever since. I got really into messageboards (and later, smiley/emoticon collecting) in 2000. I haunt Ezboards (now called Yuku) the most, and I have a pretty successful messageboard/blog called Constant Comment which I hope you will join and visit. If you think it's a waste of time, you try building it and maintaining it for 9 years. It's just a hobby. I used to also try to run messageboards for people with mental illness (depression, anxiety, OCD, etc. but because of lack of help I no longer have one). I have a creative mind and since I can't write poetry anymore (although I occassionally still do) this is my best outlet. I've met a lot of great friends online. I've met some real psychos, too. I think they're doing pretty good now, though. I used to moderate pics on HoN, between two main accounts I did over 200,000. I used a Live Journal for my private "blogging" for years, I had a Yahoo 360 page which I've turned into a "song of the day site" (now closed) because of my love for music along with a little "public" blogging, and I also have a MySpace account (no longer used that much) and a Facebook for fun. I think Twitter is stupid but of course I have an account. Yes, I am everywhere for no reason. Muhaha. I decided to change the name of this site to http://eye-candi.net/ a few years ago because the phrase was stuck in my head. I used to make excuses for having a website but you know, I enjoy amateur web design.
